We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced Section Engineer to work on a 3 month contract based on aprestigious government project in Dover. As part of a Tier 1 Civil Engineering Main Contractor, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to the success of this landmark project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a specific section of the project, ensuring it meets quality standards and deadlines.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve any issues and optimize project efficiency.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify any potential risks or obstacles.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in civil engineering projects, preferably within the infrastructure sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and delegate tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
