Responsibilities of the Science Teacher:

• Creating and delivering engaging science lessons tailored for secondary school students.
• Customizing teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs, ensuring all students are engaged and supported.
• Tracking and evaluating student progress, offering constructive feedback to encourage growth.
• Building an inclusive and interactive classroom environment that nurtures curiosity and enthusiasm for science.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to implement a comprehensive science curriculum.
• Participating in extracurricular science activities such as clubs, projects, or educational trips to enhance learning experiences.
• Supporting students with varied abilities to help them achieve their best in science.

Requirements for the Role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Applications from internationally trained teachers are welcome.
• A degree in a science-related field.
• Experience teaching science at Key Stages 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 being an asset.
• A passion for teaching and inspiring students to develop a love for science.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• An adaptable and inclusive teaching approach that engages all learners.
