Head of Operations
- Annual Salary: 60k to 70k + Bonus

On behalf of my client, I am seeking a Head of Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of their manufacturing facility. This pivotal role encompasses management of Production, Supply Chain, Project Management, Procurement, Logistics, and Warehousing.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Process Management: Manage the entire production process from estimating to delivery, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- HR Management: Oversee recruitment and performance management within the operations departments.
- Culture Leadership: Set an example in terms of culture and behaviour, serving as a role model.
- Resource Management: Optimise the use of personnel, equipment, and materials to enhance production and reduce costs.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor KPIs to assess operational performance and identify improvement areas.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the operations budget to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and alignment with company goals.
- SLT Involvement: Participate in senior leadership meetings, providing departmental reports and implementing actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 10 years in manufacturing and operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in operational management software and tools.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
