Freelance Civils Project Manager - Langport, Somerset (TA10)

Kingston Barnes Ltd is seeking an experienced Freelance Civils Project Manager on behalf of our client.

FULL DETAILS =

Project = Flood Defenses including Reinforced Concrete Walls
Requirement = 1 x Project Manager with Civil Works experience.
Qualifications = Must have a valid SMSTS, CSCS/CPCS and 1st Aid at Work certification.
Duration = 8 Months
Hours = 7:30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
Pay Rate = £380 to £425 per day (CIS) depending on experience.
Start Date = ASAP !!!

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure milestones are met.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor project budgets and schedules, reporting on progress regularly.
Manage stakeholder communication and expectations effectively.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager in the civil engineering sector.
Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Relevant project management qualifications are preferred.
