We are delighted to be working with a manufacturing business in the East Yorkshire area who are looking for a new Group Finance Director to drive the financial strategy for the business and its subsidiary companies.

What the Finance Director job involves

  • Accurate preparation of management accounts, financial reports and statements along with accurate commentary.
  • Review any financial risks and compliance standards.
  • Implement financial strategies to support growth plans.
  • Manage and inspire the finance team, encouraging high standards of work and continuous improvement.
  • Work with senior leaders across the business to partner with them on strategic decision making, financial insights and reports.
  • Reviewing cost efficiencies to enhance profitability.
  • Support with the implementation of a new ERP IFS system.

Skills required

  • ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of IFRS15 is essential.
  • Knowledge of IFRS2, IFRS9 and IFRS16 and foreign exchange would be beneficial.
  • Advanced Excel user for analysis of reports.
  • Experience of working within Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction or similar industry.
