Our client is a well established specialist manufacturing business and they are now looking to recruit a Financial Controller tooversee financial operations, drive strategic planning, ensure complianceand supportthe continued growth and financial health of thecompany.

You will be responsible for leading and managing the accounts team to deliver accurate financial reporting and forecasting. You will oversee cash flow and cost management to align with business objectives. You will drive improvements in financial processes and internal controls to optimise efficiency. You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting standards. Your responsibilities will also cover production of Management Accounts andpayroll management.

Ideal Candidate

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with demonstrableexperience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices
  • Payroll management
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a strategic mindset
  • Experience of using Sage 200
  • Experience of working as part of a senior management team reporting directly to the Managing Director
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
