My client is an established global engineering company supplying 'engineered to order solutions' for industrial, critical, and data centre projects throughout EMEA from their UK site.

The ideal background is expertise in leading a team of multidisciplinary design engineers with a focus on improving engineering standards and compliance.

Applicants must have a solid building services background.

The Role

• The main purpose of this role is to lead and improve design and engineering standards including compliance
• Leading a multidisciplinary team of 12 design engineers
• Design solutions including; mechanical piping, structural, LV electrical systems, controls and automation
• Oversee the full lifecycle of engineering projects from concept, design, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
• Provide technical leadership
• Develop and implement engineering solutions to complex challenges
• Develop the framework for all technical aspects of solution development and engineered projects
• Ensure that all engineering designs meet relevant codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Act as the primary escalations point of technical queries

Hours: 38 hours, flexible working between (Apply online only), lunchtime finish Fridays

You

• HNC or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering,
• Currently Engineering Manager, Engineering Design Manager, Technical Manager or Principle Mechanical Engineer
• Strong background in either process engineering e.g. oil & gas, nuclear or within HVAC building services / MEP

Benefits Package

• Salary to 70K - 85K
• 25 days holiday + bank holiday
