Salary: £42,500 - £47,500 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 1:30pm
Our client, a well-established Fastener Manufacturer and Distributor, is seeking an experienced Senior Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role is critical in supporting production through preventative and reactive maintenance, with a strong focus on minimising machine downtime. You will take a lead role in maintaining and improving the facility’s mechanical and electrical systems while driving efficiency improvements.
Key Requirements:- Full UK working rights (no sponsorship available).
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
- Experience using CMMS systems to log and track maintenance activities.

- Lead and execute preventative maintenance (PM) programmes in collaboration with departmental supervisors.
- Respond to emergency repairs on plant and equipment, minimising downtime.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Perform machining, fitting, and design work as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records within the company’s CMMS system.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects focused on production efficiency, defect reduction, and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Identify and resolve cost, quality, and production-related issues.
