Chapman Tate Associates seeks an ERP Support Analyst to join an established and

internationally based Manufacturer. The ERP Support Analyst will play a crucial role in

ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our Enterprise Resource Planning

ERP) system. This role involves troubleshooting user issues, managing system

configurations, providing training, and supporting system upgrades and

implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Technical Support:

  • Respond to and resolve ERP-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose system errors, working with end-users to identify and fix problems.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or vendor teams when necessary.

System Maintenance & Configuration:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system monitoring, data integrity checks, and backups.
  • Assist in configuring and customizing the ERP system to meet specific business requirements.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles within the ERP system.

Training & Documentation:

  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to end-users to maximize their effective use of the ERP system.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of system processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

System Upgrades & Implementations:

  • Participate in the planning, testing, and implementation of ERP upgrades and patches.
  • Work closely with IT and business teams to gather requirements for system enhancements and new modules.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide post-implementation support.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Assist in the creation and modification of reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and data clean-up activities.
  • Support data migration and integration efforts as needed.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and how the ERP system can support them.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations.
  • Stay updated on ERP best practices and emerging technologies to propose enhancements.

Experience needed:

  • 2-4 years of experience in ERP support, preferably with System 21, INFOR, Aurora, JDA or similar dealing with various 3rd-parties in the maintenance of ERP based applications
  • Experience with SQL will be advantageous and ERP modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, HR)
  • Experience of iSeries/OS400/AS400 OS
