Alecto Recruitment are partnering with an established company within the Anaerobic Digestion sector who are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team in Worcestershire.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate responses to breakdowns, create maintenance plans and oversee spare parts ordering.
  • Enforce strict adherence to Health & Safety policies.
  • Supervise equipment repairs, refurbishments, and new installations/fabrication projects.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Support ongoing projects and assist the operations team as required.
  • Ensure all staff and contractors comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model for new team members.
  • Supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with safe work systems and risk assessments.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation within the workplace.
  • Experience in creating PPM plans.
  • Previous experience within a management role.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Ability to converse at all levels of management and maintenance teams.
  • Be able to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to motivate self and others.
