The School and Role          

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our specialised school in Sheffield, focusing on students aged 4 to 11 with autism and communication difficulties. In this vital role, you will help create a calm and nurturing environment that allows each child to thrive academically and personally. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and professionals to develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to the unique needs of each student. Requirements 

The desired Candidate will have:  

  • Experience working with children with Autism and Communication.
  • Experience working with Children / Young adults with SEND.
  • Patience and empathy in dealing with diverse learning and behavioural challenges.
  • Relevant qualifications and experience within education or related fields of work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
