Job Advertisement: Teaching Assistant with SEN Experience
Location: Dronfield (S18 area)
Position: Teaching Assistant for Year 1 Class
Start Date: Week commencing 31st March 2025
Schedule:
- Tuesday: Morning only
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: All day
Duration: Long-term basis until the end of the academic year.
Break: 2 weeks for Easter holidays, returning on Monday 21st April 2025
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
- Assisting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to ensure they receive tailored support
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitoring and recording students' progress and providing feedback
- Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a safe environment
Skills Required:
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications in education or childcare
