We are recruiting for a rapidly growing accountancy firm is seeking a qualified (or qualified by experience) accountant to join their busy accounts team in Dudley. The successful candidate will work alongside one of the partners, while managing their own portfolio of clients.
Brief job description:
- Completion and review of a wide variety of accounts for small and medium-sized companies.
- Reviewing and providing feedback on the work of the accounts team, supporting their development.
- Assisting partners with day-to-day duties and tasks.
- Managing a portfolio of clients, maintaining strong relationships, and attending client meetings.
- Ensuring all work is completed within deadlines, meeting both client needs and internal budgets.
- Taking full ownership of the quality of work produced and delivered to clients.
Minimum qualifications and requirements:
- ACCA or ACA qualified, or qualified by experience.
- A minimum of 5 years recent experience working in a similar position within an accountancy practice.
- Strong experience with FRS102 and FRS102A.
