Company Description

The company, located in Dudley, is an expanding contract bottling company with 81 years of experience in the industry. We process, bottle, can and keg beers, ciders and soft drinks.

Salary = £12+ DOE

Shifts = 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm (Mon-Fri) Rotating weekly

Role Description

1 Intake of product ensuring all process controls, quality standards and H&S requirements are followed. Record all details on check sheets provided.

2 Knowledge of all processing pipe routes and all tank capacities.

4 Control of Heat Exchanger, Bosch mixer and pumps.

5 Cleaning of all routes, equipment and tanks using CIP system

6 Filtering of liquid to specification. Quality and traceability checks throughout.

7 Cleaning of all external areas. Eg. Floors, pipe and tank fittings, tanks etc.

8 Weighing & Mixing ingredients to customer recipe.

9 Stock control (Intake, rotation, stock count) of ingredients.

10 To work closely with the Processing Co-ordinator to ensure handovers are effective communications tools.

11 To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift.

12 To ensure good communication is given either verbally or written where needed.

13 Continuously maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.

14 To support Production where needed.

15 Maintaining high level of timekeeping.

Person Specification:

1 Personality: This is a role for somebody dynamic, energetic, self-driven, results-oriented, and above all who has a positive can do outlook with a clear focus on deliverables. We are looking for a highly organised, naturally forward planning, logical, structured thinker. Prompt and accurate communication skills are essential.

2 Able to effectively work individually and as part of a team.

3 Understands the principles of manufacturing.

4 Work experience: Minimum 3 years working in manufacturing.

5 Able to work extended hours and in different areas, on occasions when required.
