We are working with a Multi-Academy Trust, based in Wolverhampton, who are recruiting for a HR Support Officer on a permanent basis paying £30,559.

This role would suit a knowledgeable HR Coordinator/HR Assistant experienced in supporting with general HR and recruitment processes, looking to step up into a HR Officer role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Acting as a key point of contact for all HR-Related queries
  • Managing employee lifecycle processes, including providing advice and support to managers on recruitment and onboarding activity
  • Developing and delivering training to key stakeholders regarding safer recruitment, inductions, probation, T&C’s, absences, wellbeing and staff benefits
  • Contributing to the review and development of the staff absence management policy and reporting procedure
  • Processing new starters, leavers and contract variations
  • Supporting payroll processes

Experience required:

  • Experience working within HR
  • Ideally L5 CIPD (Support for qualification can be provided)
  • Ideally experience working within the education sector

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Understanding of good practice, current legislation and policy within education
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with a wide range of people in various settings

Working hours:

  • 37 Hours p/week (on-site)
  • Flexible start and finish times
