Laser Setter

Advanced Recruit are recruiting on behalf of their client in the Wolverhamtpon  area for a skilled and experienced Flat bed Laser Setter / Operator.

Job Role

• Quality focused and able to work on own initiative
• Using Flatbed Amada & Bystronic laser machines
• Using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometres
• Liaising with the office on new drawings/programmes
• Working with mild steel

Experience/Requirements

• Team player Reliable, hardworking and able to work under pressure
• 3+ years setting and operating flatbed Amada laser machine would be advantageous.
• The ability to read from engineering drawings would be advantageous.

The Package

• Starting pay rate will be £14.50 - 16 per hour before transferring onto nights. 
• Working days- 7 -15:3
• 12 week temporary to permanent contract
• Pay rate is reviewed once the 12 weeks are completed
• Overtime would be available when appropriate
