We have an opportunity for a Hire Desk Controller based in Dudley for one of our clients on a full—time permanent basis. Our client is a well-established plant and machinery hire with sites across the UK.
Responsibilities of the Hire Desk Controller
- Manage hire fleet stock and sales stock.
- Complete workshop work orders.
- Undertake admin on stock orders and amendments.
- Manage vehicles and drivers.
- Carry out basic service of hire fleet items.
- Complete administration duties for hire contracts on hire and off hires.
Requirements for a successful Hire Desk Controller
- Previous plant/tool hire experience is essential.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Good understanding of Health and Safety.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Summary of the Hire Desk Controller role
Salary: £25,000 - £26,000
Location: Dudley
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
