Are you a passionate Art and Design Teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting a secondary Art and Design teacher to start immediately on a long-term ongoing basis working part time ( Monday to Thursday)

Our client is based in Dudley with a ‘Good' Ofsted rating and has a great local reputation. The ideal candidate will be confident teaching Art and Design lessons up to A Level.

As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:

  • Teach Art and Design throughout KS3, 4 and 5.
  • Planning, marking, and assessment required.
  • Comply with the school behaviour policy.
  • Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
  • Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills

Required skills and experience for the Art and Design Teacher role:

  • Specialist in Art and Design/ Textiles
  • Confident teaching Art and Design up to GCSE
  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Early career Teachers (ECT's) are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.
  • Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
  • Previous school experience teaching Art and Design.
