Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently supporting a client based in North Somerset who are looking for an Interim Assistant Management Accountant to join them on a Fixed Term Contract basis for 6 - 9 months.

Role: Assistant Management Accountant
Duration: 6 - 9 Months Fixed Term Contract
Start date: W/c 22nd April
Working pattern: Full time. 3 days a week in the office, 2 from home
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Assist the Finance Manager by helping with:
- Reporting responsibilities
- Payroll admin (ADP)
- Finance admin
- Act as a Power BI expert and help with reporting
- Build dashboards and improve existing reporting
- Help the sales team on how to build and understand reports
- Support process improvement and efficiency projects
- Assist in the absence of a formal purchase order process
- Provide business partnering support where possible
- Assist with ad-hoc duties as required to support the team
Skills/experience needed:
- Strong Power BI capability - building and explaining dashboards
- Comfortable producing reports from scratch
- Confident communicating with non-finance teams (e.g. Sales)
- Used to working in a fast-changing, maturing finance function
- Previous Assistant Accountant level experience
- Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or similar level of education - Desirable
