Financial Controller - £70,000 - £90,000 + bonus + benefits - 2 days in office

Robert Half are working in partnership with an established business with a global presence based in Bristol to recruit a Financial Controller on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role working closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and integrity of the numbers.

The Financial Controller role will suit candidates with a track record of working within a large and complex business, used to delivering timely month end closes and being seen as a leader. This is a newly created role and will play a key part in developing and managing financial operations for an evolving part of the business.

The Financial Controller role is based in Bristol with some travel to other sites, the role offers hybrid working and a salary between £70,000 and £80,000 plus benefits including car allowance, bonus, PMI.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of month end activities ensuring accurate and timely delivery
  • Ensure adherence to governance, regulations and reporting requirements
  • Drive process improvement activities and work towards best in class processes
  • Develop and monitor KPI performance
  • Work closely with the auditors

About your experience

  • Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Proven experience in a finance leadership role
  • Blend of month end, reporting and compliance experience
  • Ability to interrogate accuracy of Balance Sheet and P&L
