An exciting opportunity to become a key performer within an innovative and growing insurance network provider that connects UK independent insurance brokers with insurers and product providers in addition to delivering marketing and distribution expertise.

As part of their strategic growth plan they are seeking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to be responsible for the South Central & South West Region

The successful candidate will need to reside in or around one of the following locations: Swindon, Reading, Guildford, Salisbury.

Job Description

Responsible for managing the delivery of agreed sales targets within your specified region via the sales, marketing and distribution of products and services.

This is a field sales role, whereby the individual will be visiting, presenting and selling to UK general insurance brokers on a face-to-face basis across a prescribed region.

Role overview

*Manage revenue growth and deliver sales targets within an assigned region.

*Maximise product sales within an assigned region.

*Identify and deliver areas for growth within an assigned region.

*Plan and execute sales, marketing and distribution activities.

*Maintain contact with existing partners to ensure high levels of client satisfaction

*Undertake broker visits 3 days per week

*Maintain and develop client relationships: Brokers and Product Providers

*Attend events and act as a Brand Ambassador

What you need to show

  • Geographical knowledge of the assigned region.
  • Be able to deliver growth and achieve sales targets
  • Be able to effectively analyse client needs and develop solutions
  • Demonstrate confident and effective sales skills: face to face, virtually and on the phone
  • Full UK driving license
