A leading company in environmental solutions is looking for a Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Technical Sales Engineers, driving business growth within the UK Municipal water sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a sales team, ensuring achievement of targets and outstanding customer service.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients in the water industry.
  • Collaborate across departments to create tailored solutions that meet client needs.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from initial contact to project completion.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, delivering presentations and negotiating contracts.

About You:

  • Strong sales management experience, ideally within the water or environmental sector.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and understanding of the sales lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment is a plus but not essential; willingness to learn is key.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage large accounts with a focus on long-term client relationships.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK to support sales activities and client relationships.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience driving profitable growth in a rental or sales-focused business.
  • Strong organisational skills and time management.
  • Competency in Office 365, especially Excel and Word.
  • Full UK driving licence essential
