- Install, test, and maintain electrical systems in compliance with ATEX standards and UK regulations.
- Perform detailed inspections and audits of electrical installations in hazardous areas to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems and equipment.
- Provide technical advice and support on ATEX compliance and electrical safety.
- Prepare and maintain necessary documentation, including inspection reports and compliance certificates.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive measures.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and safety officers to ensure all projects adhere to safety protocols.
- Valid ATEX certification, such as Compex Ex07/08 or similar, with a strong understanding of ATEX directives and DSEAR.
- Qualified Electrician with an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
- City & Guilds Inspection & Testing 2391 or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in hazardous areas, particularly within the oil and gas or chemical sectors.
- Deep knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards related to explosive atmospheres.
