Dynamics 365 Enterprise Architect - £900-£950 Inside IR35We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Dynamics 365 F&O Architect to lead the design and harmonisation of a large-scale ERP transformation programme using D365. This is a pivotal role in a multi-year initiative that will align processes across a complex organisation with multiple business units. The programme has high stakes, demanding significant gravitas, authority, and the ability to navigate cultural nuances to achieve alignment.This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on challenge, possesses deep ERP expertise, and can provide leadership across a high-profile, transformative initiative.Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Process Design: Drive agreement on common processes and adoption of standard practices across multiple business units, ensuring alignment to project goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, balancing the needs of each business unit to deliver a harmonised solution.
  • Challenge Vendors and Partners: Push back on customisations and ensure value is maximised from third parties. Advocate for efficient and effective approaches, aligning with programme timelines and budgets.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Lead workshops to agree on ways of working, design principles, and KPIs for the design phase, ensuring a focus on standardisation and justified customisations.
  • Blueprint Co-Authoring: Collaborate in the creation of the programme's blueprint, ensuring alignment with business goals and programme timelines.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direction for the architecture practice.
  • Multi-Year Programme Support: Contribute to the design, implementation, and sequenced deployment of ERP solutions, ensuring reusability and consistency.

Key Skills Required:

  • Substantial experience as a Lead / Enterprise Architect
  • Substantial experience of working with Dynamics 365 F&O (minimum 3 implementations previously).
  • Proven track record delivering D365 F&O transformation programmes for multi-business organisations.
  • Previous roles in Manufacturing, Retail, Pharmaceutical, FMCG or similarly regulated industries.
  • Consultancy experience (Big Four or Tier 1 ERP vendors) is highly desirable.
  • Gravitas and authority - ability to influence at senior levels and drive consensus across challenging stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - adept at navigating egos and cultural nuances without alienating stakeholders.
  • Expertise in process alignment, end-to-end ERP design, and driving adherence to standard practices.
  • Ability to critically assess vendor recommendations and challenge where necessary.
  • Collaborative leadership style - able to work effectively with architects and cross-functional teams.
