Robert Half are recruiting a Finance Manager role on a permanent basis with a well known organisation based in Melksham. This role would suit someone with previous leadership experience and experience of working in a medium sized business.

The role

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing a team, overseeing all transactional processing (AP, AR and Payroll) as well as producing accounts and reports for internal stakeholders. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing a team of 5 across AP, AR and Payroll.
  • Managing team deadlines and supporting with managing workloads.
  • Supporting operationally where required: this is a hands on role.
  • Develop and provide KPIs and metrics to senior management.
  • Monthly reporting and analysis.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting with producing group management accounts.
  • Assisting with audits.

Profile

  • Qualified by experience or ACCA/CIMA qualified considered.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Team player who is happy to be hands on.
  • Resilient, solutions orientated and driven to succeed.
  • This role would suit someone seeking progression long term, or would suit someone seeking stability and an opportunity to add value.

Package

  • £45,000 - £55,000 base salary.
  • Hybrid working (3 days on site, 2 days from home).
  • Free on site parking.
  • 24 days leave + bank holidays.
