SEND Casework Auditor

£325 per day - Inside iR35

Initial 3-month contract with a view to being extended.

Hybrid Working, 1-2 days in the office per week.

Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting for several SEND Casework Auditors to be part of a project team for our client, a local authority in the Southwest.

We are looking for experienced SEND Officers with significant experience working for local authority SEND services.

Duties will include:

  • Establish where we are with EHC needs assessments, quality of EHC Plans and annual reviews within the first month.
  • Identify gaps in practice for individual child/young person and make recommendations for improvement.
  • To report to Casework Audit lead weekly.
  • Be prepared to present to panels as required.
  • Able to take on complex casework if required to resolve child/young person's plan for going forward.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a SEND Officer for a local authority. (Essential)
  • Available to work in the office 1-2 days per week. (Essential)
  • Be able to work autonomously.
  • Worked in a SEND auditing capacity previously for a local authority.
