Frazer Jones is delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a fast paced & high growth business in Wiltshire to help them recruit an HR Business Partner.

This is a unique role within the HR team as you will be partnering with a workforce of contract and self-employed workers. Previous experience of managing self-employed workers is essential along with a good understanding and knowledge of IR35. Hybrid working is offered of 2 days per month on site.

Reporting into the Head of People Partnering and Operations you will join the wider HR team and will have full accountability for promoting a culture of excellence across your business area as well as supporting the delivery of people focused operations. Your contribution of finding solutions for the challenges that can arise when working largely with a contractor and self employed workforce will be invaluable to the leadership team. You will ensure your client group feels engaged with the wider business and is driven to perform to the best of their ability providing an excellent service to the end client.

You will be a key stakeholder in developing and implementing effective people activities whilst ensuring compliance and regulations are met. You will support the wider leadership team in their delivery to scale and support a hybrid and rapidly growing workforce.

Key Duties will include:

  • Providing an HR operational business partnering service to key stakeholders, ensuring they understand regulatory & employment law obligations.
  • Own and implement process, policies and working practices that will be effective and relevant to a contractor workforce.
  • Lead on people projects across the organisation with specific focus on IR35 and contractor reviews.
  • Coach, advise and guide managers to handle complex ER issues.
  • Liaise and work closely with all relevant business areas on performance issues, onboarding and workforce planning within a contractor environment
  • Effectively use data and metrics to analyse and understand the effectiveness and performance of your client group.
