Operational Resilience & Business Continuity Manager

6 Month FTC – up to £70,000 Per annum (pro-rata) - Remote or occasional site visit if local – South West

Proactive IT Appointments are working with a fantastic organisation who are looking to onboard an Operational Resilience & Business Continuity Manager. The right candidate will be responsible for further developing and implanting the organisations operational resilience framework and business continuity system. The role will entail identifying potential risks, creating strategies for risk and disaster recovery management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To review and develop the operational resilience framework so that it is in line with industry best practices (ISO22301) and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate the completion of Business Impact Assessments (BIA’s)
  • Completion of a Business Continuity maturity assessment and the implementation of a maturity development plan.
  • Review, design and execute business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure resilience strategies are integrated into all business processes.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of resilience strategies, make recommendations and implement improvements.
  • Plan and coordinate BC and DR testing.
  • Lead and own continuous improvement.

Experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and resilience
  • Excellent project management and organisation skills
  • Relevant certifications are desirable
