Job Title: 1st Line Support EngineerLocation: Northampton Job Type: PermanentAre you a passionate problem solver? Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environments? If so, our client is looking for a motivated 1st Line Support Engineer to join their Service Desk team!Role Responsibilities:
  • Manage technical cases with care, keeping clients informed and satisfied with progress updates.
  • Ensuring requests are resolved in a timely manner, in line with agreed SLA.
  • Collaborate with the team to monitor and support client IT systems, using our monitoring software.
  • Recognize when to escalate issues and act swiftly to ensure fast resolutions.
  • Oversee ongoing technical matters to ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in problem-solving and staying on top of tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience and knowledge across the windows stack which includes Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, Windows Servers (2019 & 2022), Microsoft Exchange Server (2019)
  • You have the confidence to work on your own initiative and proactively handle challenges.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to relay complex information clearly.
