Venn Group Network Engineer 12 month contract SC Cleared On-Site - South West Inside IR35, Rate DOE
Our client require multiple Network Engineers to join them on a long-term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Support the technical team responsible for the design, development, documentation, building and validation
- Design and development of all networking components forming the platform
- Production and review of all levels of design artefacts
- Work alongside Service Management to resolve issues
- Support with system testing activities
Skills Required:
- 3+ years’ of experience within defence industry
- Extensive experience of design, implementation and troubleshooting including advanced knowledge with routers, switches and firewalls
- Hands-on experience with network technologies and infrastructure e.g. Cisco Nexus, IOS XE, VXLAN, Leaf and Spine network architecture
- Networking certifications (at least CCNP) and Virtualisation certification – VMware VCP-NV
- SC Cleared
Desirable:
- Experience working within the public sector/defence/Defence Digital
- Defence Networks and Gateways
