Position: Locum HousingLitigation Lawyer – (Anti-Social Behaviour & Possession matters)
Organisation: Midlands
Duration: 3 months + rolling contract
Working Pattern: Full Time
Working Arrangement: Remote Working, apart from IT collection on the first day
Hourly Rate: Up to £55 per hour (Umbrella)
Start: within 1-2 weeks
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority and can demonstrate knowledge of Housing Litigation matters, with an emphasis on Anti-Social Behaviour & Possession matters.
Duties may include:
- Undertake all aspects of legal work relating to Housing Litigation with a focus on Anti-Social Behaviour & Housing Possession
- To defend Possession matters, Anti-Social Behaviour & other matters relating to Landlord and Tenant Act
- Handle Anti-Social Behaviour & Possession related matters, Pre Action-Protocols, & application for Judicial Reviews on Homelessness and Allocation matters
- Liaise and work collaboratively with other legal representatives
- To prepare & manage a caseload in relation to Housing Management & support case preparation for Court
