Locum Special Educational Needs (SEN) Lawyer

Up to £63 per hour umbrella (dependent on experience)

Local Authority based in South-East England

3 months initially with the possibility of an extension thereafter

Full time, Remote Working

Venn Group is working with a fantastic local authority in South-East England in their search for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Lawyer on an Locum basis for an initial 3-month role (with the potential to be extended)

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or legal executive with strong knowledge of SEND and education law
  • Strong ability to provide clear, prompt and accurate legal advice
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and part of a team

Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing legal advice and conducting casework related to SEND and education law
  • Supporting a dynamic legal team in delivering high-quality legal services to the council
  • Handling a varied caseload in a busy enviroment
