Position: Locum Prosecutions & Licensing Lawyer
Organisation: Midlands based Local Authority
Duration: 3 months +
Working Pattern: Part-time (ideally 3 days per week)
Working Arrangement: Predominantly remote working β must attend Court when required and Licensing Committees once a month
Hourly Rate: Up to Β£55 per hour umbrella
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority handling a caseload of Prosecutions and Licensing matters.
Duties may include:
- To undertake aspects of legal work relating to Prosecutions matters and Licensing matters
- Work collaboratively with other legal representatives
- To act on behalf of the Council and attend court when required
- Attend Licensing Committee meetings in-person
Qualifications required:
Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive or a member of the Bar who has completed pupillage/registered FILEX
