Locum Senior Commercial Property Lawyer – East Anglia – Remote Working – Up to £60 per hour (Umbrella)

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Commercial Property Lawyer to join a Local Authority based in East Anglia. This is a 3-month remote role, with the possibility of extension, offering up to £60 per hour (Umbrella), though higher rates may be considered based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling complex commercial property matters, including high-value acquisitions.
  • Advising on regeneration projects and development schemes.
  • Working on project-based legal work for the Local Authority.
  • Managing a diverse caseload independently and efficiently.
  • Potential involvement in team management responsibilities.

Person Specification:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ PQE in Commercial Property Law.
  • Proven expertise in dealing with complex caseloads.
  • Previous experience within the public sector or Local Government is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of property law, including regeneration and development projects.
