Description
- Lead the Team: Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness while fostering a positive team culture.
- Manage Relationships: Collaborate with the customer and Team to build strong partnerships and resolve any transportation issues that arise.
- Optimise Processes: Continuously assess and improve transport routes and processes to enhance service delivery and reduce costs.
- Ensure Compliance: Monitor compliance with industry regulations and company policies to maintain high standards of safety and performance.
- Analyse Performance: Use data to track KPIs, identify trends, and implement solutions to drive operational excellence.
Profile
A successful Transport Supervisor based in Bristol Portbury should;
- Experience: Proven experience in transport supervision or a similar role within the 3PL industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Problem Solver: A proactive approach to problem-solving with excellent decision-making skills.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with transport management systems and a good grasp of logistics software.
