My client is looking for a Marketing Associate to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The role offers the flexibility of full or part-time hours with a hybrid working arrangement. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Distribution and the Marketing Assistant to deliver the firm’s marketing plans and implement a wide range of marketing activities.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Organise and manage a programme of hosted events, including in-house, external, and virtual, from inception to follow-up.
  • Attend events to ensure smooth execution and act as a representative of the firm.
  • Prepare various materials to support marketing and business development initiatives in collaboration with the Director of Marketing & Distribution.
  • Update all client and internal proposition forms and documentation with colleagues in technical and team functions.
  • Execute marketing campaigns via the website, Google ads, and social media channels.
  • Maintain the website, publish new content, and ensure SEO objectives are met.
  • Schedule and monitor content on social media channels, mainly LinkedIn, and track engagement.
  • Manage the firm’s HubSpot marketing email account, including template creation, mailing data management, setup and execution of email campaigns, and tracking responses.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Creative thinking with the ability to generate new and varied marketing campaigns. Design experience is desirable.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to research and understand the latest marketing trends and best practices.
  • Highly organised with great project management skills and excellent time management.
  • Excellent command of the English language and communication skills with strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Sound working knowledge of WordPress, HubSpot, SEO platforms (e.g., Semrush), Canva, Adobe packages, and Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint. Practical knowledge of LinkedIn and GDPR requirements.
  • Car ownership and a driving license are essential.
