Risk Manager / Lead Risk Analyst - Contract - 6 - 12 months - Outside IR35 - South West England. My client is looking for an experienced Risk Analyst / Risk Manger for an initial 6 month contract, (which is Outside IR35), with the ideal candidate being able to start ASAP. You must have at least 5 years relevant experience and have a thorough knowledge of ISO 31000 and other relevant standards. Further details on the position can be found below:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, develop, implement and embed a Corporate Risk Management Strategy and supporting framework
  • Ensure risk management arrangements are effective in enabling delivery of strategic priorities, providing timely and expert advice, guidance and challenge on risk issues including risks management challenge relating to new initiatives and major strategic decisions.
  • Building risk maturity through delivery of training, providing coaching and producing tools and guidance to support the development of risk management capability across the client to ensure staff are competent to carry out their associated roles.
  • Advocate for robust risk management, influencing and advising Executive decision makers on the client's risk programme
  • Provide a check and challenge function to ensure operational risks and strategic risks register are relevant and robust and suitably aligned to strategic planning
  • Deliver a comprehensive risk reporting protocol for evaluating performance, strategy and efficacy of controls
  • Advanced level of knowledge and application including a thorough knowledge of:
    • ISO 31000 and other relevant standards
    • Risk assessment, treatment and governance arrangements including risk appetite
    • Implementing risk strategies in multi-facetted organisations
