Interim Committee and Elections Manager – East of England Local Authority – Initial 3 months – up to £500 per day Umbrella Venn Group is delighted to be working with a Local Authority in the East of England to recruit an Interim Committee and Elections Manager for an initial 3-month assignment with possible extension. This role offers up to £500 per day Umbrella and requires one day per week in the office. Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Overseeing a team of four full-time staff.
  • Committee Support: Attending and providing support for a variety of in-person committee meetings. 
  • Electoral Services Oversight: Ensuring the effective delivery of electoral services, supporting democratic processes, and maintaining statutory compliance.
  • General Managerial Duties: Delivering the day-to-day responsibilities of a Committee and Electoral Services Manager, ensuring the team operates effectively and deadlines are met.

 About You:The successful candidate will possess:

  • Significant experience managing committee and electoral services within a local authority setting.
