Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Post Covid-19 Assessment Service & ME/CFS team. This role focuses on providing specialist respiratory physiotherapy care for patients with long-term conditions, including post-Covid-19 syndrome and ME/CFS. The position offers a mix of remote and community-based work, with an opportunity to make a positive impact on patient rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with patients on a 1:1 basis, focusing on self-management, especially for those with ME/CFS and Post Covid-19 Syndrome.
  • Independently manage a complex caseload, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Provide clinical expertise and interventions, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
  • Engage in clinical practice within the NHS or an equivalent healthcare provider.

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
  • Proven experience in working with respiratory conditions, long-term conditions, and breathing retraining.
  • Experience in providing group work and rehabilitative interventions.
  • Knowledge of Post Covid-19 syndrome and ME/CFS is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
