Director of Platforms / Head of Platforms / ERP Transformation Platform Owner - ERP / Oracle Fusion

Overview of the role:

You will play a pivotal leadership role as the Director of Enterprise IT platform initiatives, focusing on both business-as-usual (BAU) management and driving strategic roadmap development for these platforms with the service owners, and business leaders. Your leadership will be crucial in managing the continuous and service delivery elements of enterprise platforms, guiding their integration, evolution, and optimisation. You will ensure that key initiatives are strategically aligned with business objectives, providing oversight and driving their successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Roadmap Development: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape and prioritise roadmaps for the Oracle Fusion ERP and application platforms. Drive alignment between IT and business goals, ensuring resources are allocated to both BAU and strategic initiatives to maximise the impact of these platforms.

Leadership and Oversight:Lead and manage the enterprise IT platform domains, including the Oracle Fusion ERP and platforms, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. You'll oversee the IT delivery management teams, providing strategic guidance and operational oversight ensuring project initiatives are effectively executed.

Enterprise IT Structure and Optimisation:Design and optimise IT delivery teams to support enterprise platform initiatives, particularly in relation to the Oracle Fusion ERP and grants systems. Lead IT governance at strategic boards, representing enterprise platforms and ensuring delivery is aligned with both business needs and technical requirements.

Governance and Standards Leadership:In collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, own and iterate governance, standards, and practices for enterprise platform delivery. Ensure that platforms adhere to industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and are designed for optimal service delivery and integration.

Resource and Spend Management:Effectively manage programme funding, resources, and supplier relationships for enterprise platforms, including Oracle Fusion ERP. Ensure sustainable and efficient BAU service models, optimising procurement and resource allocation to enhance platform performance and business outcomes.

Supplier and Support Model Management:Oversee the support model and supplier relationships for Oracle Fusion ERP and other enterprise platforms. Ensure that supplier management is aligned with service performance goals and that platforms are supported to meet evolving business demands.

Drive integration-by-design principles across enterprise platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability between systems, including Oracle Fusion ERP and grants management systems. Promote user-centred design (UCD), AI, and ethical design principles to deliver innovation and enhance platform user experiences.

Service Readiness and Quality Assurance:Own the fitness for service and readiness assessments for all enterprise platforms, ensuring the Enterprise platforms projects meet quality standards and are ready for deployment. Drive platform performance monitoring to ensure these systems continuously meet business needs.

Domain Leadership:Lead the Enterprise Platforms with specific focus on the Oracle Fusion ERP and grants management platforms, guiding their evolution and long-term sustainability within the organisation.

Qualifications:

Proven senior IT leadership experience with specific experience in managing large-scale platforms like Oracle Fusion ERP.
