Carbon60 are looking for an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join a world leading energy solutions client based near Glasgow, Scotland on a 6-month contract. Our client is looking for someone who can act as group authority with a high level of electrical engineering expertise.
This role will suit a seasoned professional electrical engineer with a background in design/development who is confident in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Job Description
- Lead Electrical Engineer for a world-renowned energy solutions provider
- 6-month contract minimum 3 days a week onsite in Dumbarton
- Project responsibility over the electrical design engineering of continuing developments and technical support through subject matter expertise
- Anticipate likely engineering issues and implement quick resolutions as they arise
- Maintain compliance with regulations, standards and legislation and ensure all documentation is complete throughout the product lifecycle
- Ensure electrical aspects of projects can adhere to a variety of applications and environments whilst ensuring component and system cost reduction
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant experience and training in product development and design
- Chartered Engineer/CEng
- Substantial experience within the electrical engineering industry
- Management, supervisory or leadership experience
