ACCOUNTANT - INSIDE IR35 - INITIAL 3 MONTHS

One of Loriens Dundee based public sector clients are looking for a qualified accountant to join their team for an initial 3 month contract, largely remote working with few days for initial training and on boarding.

Essential Skills

  • Membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or part professional accountancy qualification (e.g. CIPFA, CA, ACCA, ACMA)
  • Experience of budget monitoring reports
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including advanced skills in excel
  • Experience of ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Experience working in an accounting environment
  • Experience working with internal and external customers at all levels
  • Experience of providing financial advice and support to budget holders
  • Accurate numeracy skills demonstrating attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative, manage own time, prioritise and meet multiple tight deadlines
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Desirable Skills

  • Relevant experience in a similar public sector financial environment
