Position: Sous Chef
Operation: Quality Bar & restaurant
Location: DundeeSalary: £40-45K (Inc OTE)
Ellis Mack is currently looking to recruit a talented Sous Chef to work in Dundee must loved restaurant within an well-established independent multi-site operator.
The restaurant offers a stunning well designed al a carte menu catering for around 80 covers under a well accomplished head chef with a strong background and great leader of the kitchen. A beautifully well equipped kitchen and new dinning room to match, with no expense spared.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef`s absence
Maintaining driving consistently high standards of produce.
Recruitment and training of junior members of staff.
Daily Stock Control ordering.
input into all areas of kitchen management inc. all KPI targets such as GP %, environmental health issues, menu design etc.
Skills/Experience:
Have Sous/Junior Sous experience in a similarly high quality operation.
Possess a passion and knowledge for food.
Be driven and focussed on first class standards across every aspect of the operation.
Have shown loyalty and longevity throughout their career.
Have excellent planning and organisational skills.
