About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team at a leading international valve manufacturer. This role is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering and a proven track record in B2B sales.
Covering the North of Scotland, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across a range of industries, including distilleries, food & beverage, NHS, general industry, chemical, and process markets. You will work closely with contractors, OEMs, end-users, and distributors, managing existing accounts, securing new business, and developing project sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage sales within the North Scotland region.
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Promote and sell a diverse range of medium & low pressure valves and control-related products.
- Provide expert advice on steam systems and mechanical solutions.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in external sales within a mechanical engineering discipline.
- Proven success in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A mechanical qualification (HNC or higher) is essential.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally working with steam systems.
- Full UK driving licence is required.
- Must be based within the sales region.
