COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT - INITIAL 6 MONTH CONTRACT - INSIDE IR35

One of Loriens Dundee based Public sector clients are looking for a strong Communications assistant to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.

To work with the Communications Managers and Communications Officers to carry out a range of communications, marketing and digital engagement tasks which support the organisations Communications and Policy Department.

This includes:

  • social media management
  • content creation across all platforms
  • our internal and external email newsletters
  • updating our website and intranet information materials.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in a communications, marketing or information assistant role.
  • Experience using social media.
  • Experience of writing and proofreading copy for online newsletters, leaflets etc.
  • Operating within busy environment.
  • Handling confidential information.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyse results/insights.
  • Concise and clear oral and written skills.
  • Effective organisational skills and time management.
  • Set and prioritise own workload.
  • Effective administrative skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel and Outlook, Teams, SharePoint etc
