Accountant - PI and FP&A

Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a permanent Accountant based close to Dunfermline paying £57,000 - £70,000 plus a really competitive benefits package.

The Role

The position of Accountant can be described as a hybrid position where the successful individuals time will be split between process improvement projects and FP&A. It’s keen to capture aspiring finance professionals, as it seeks to succession planning for both it’s Senior Accountant and Finance Management roles in the medium to long-term future.

The key components will include:

• Involvement in several high profile & value projects
• Leading on process improvement including reviewing and developing processes, procedures, & controls
• Assisting with ERP & system implementations & developments
• Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs
• Business partnering with senior and non-financial stakeholders
• Financial analysis & reporting - KPI’s, P&L, variances, costs, revenue etc.
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Ensuring robust month and year-end close

Candidate Profile

This role would ideally best be fitted to a qualified Accountant, although the employer is willing to consider applications of individuals few exams outstanding and/or qualified by experience. Desired criteria for this appointment is:

ESSENTIAL:

• FP&A experience
• Process improvement experience
• Excellent stakeholder & communication skills

DESRIABLE

• Involvement in ERP/systems implementation and/or development
