Connect Appointments is delighted to partner with a Dunfermline based engineering and manufacturing firm, who specialise in the production of large-scale vehicles and trailers.
We're seeking a Mechanical Assembly Operator to assemble a variety of components, ensuring high standards of quality and precision. With your duties including:
- Assemble mechanical components per engineering drawings
- Use hand and power tools for assembly and modifications
- Conduct quality inspections and tests
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
- Collaborate with teams to improve processes
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area
- Document assembly processes and keep accurate records
To be successful in this Mechanical Assembly Operator role, you will have the followings skills, traits and experience:
- Experience in mechanical assembly
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use assembly tools
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer skills for documentation.
What's on offer? Permanent, full-time position working either day or night shift. Competitive salary up to 41,500 per annum DOE + night shift allowance of 120 per week. As well as, 33 days holiday per year; and high earning potential through overtime and bonuses.
