Our client, a highly regarded, forward thinking CA Firm, with a supportive, friendly culture, seeks to recruit a Senior Practice Accountant to join their Accounts team, who has both the experience and drive to assist the firm in its continued controlled growth..


Reporting to Manager and Directors, this broad role offers the opportunity to build long lasting relationships and work in close liaison with your clients as an all round Business Advisor and main client contact for many clients and key team member.


IDEAL PERSON:


This role will suit a part qualified ACCA or Qualified by Experience individual with c4 years upwards UK Accountancy Practice firm experience/background, with an enthusiastic, client and team focussed ' can do' approach and a desire to self develop.


Individuals at finalist level, looking to qualify soon, will happily be considered and offered study support package through their exams to qualify, if desired.


Main duties:


Preparation of more technical and complex accounts with some review of more basic year end accounts/financial statements using FRS 102/105 for a varied range of mainly ltd companies

Responsibility for overseeing and monitoring all company secretarial matters and assisting junior team members with this

Support the firm on Anti money laundering matters

Business advisory work, including technical and software support for clients

Produce both technical and topical articles to raise both own profile and firms profile

Review client ledgers as allocated, monitoring budgets and invoicing

Training, mentoring and supporting junior team members
