Your New Role
As a key member of our Electrical Design Team, you will take charge of designing and testing electrical schematics that power our innovative products. You will lead the creation of electrical drawings, schematics, and detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) for electrical components. Additionally, you will produce technical documentation, mentor team members, and provide technical direction. Your role will also involve researching and testing manufacturing methods, working on R&D projects, designing electrical testing methods, and ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System and health and safety procedures.
What You Will Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will need an HND or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering, or relevant work experience, and a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience in a similar electrical design role. You should have expertise in schematics design and proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and EPLAN. A strong understanding of current electrical design standards and regulations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team are essential. Strong technical drawing skills and experience in drafting electrical systems to industry standards are also required.
