As a key player in the maintenance team, you'll report directly to the Maintenance Manager and take charge of all reactive and proactive maintenance work across the site. Your expertise will help them maintain the highest standards of performance and safety.
What You'll Do:
- Safety First: Execute all maintenance tasks with a keen eye on employee safety and regulatory compliance.
- Dynamic Maintenance: Provide both reactive and planned maintenance to keep our machinery in top shape.
- Boost Efficiency: Collaborate with production line managers to minimise downtime and enhance output efficiency.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed maintenance records, ensuring all documentation is current and comprehensive.
- Cost-Effective Solutions: Help manage a cost-effective spare parts store.
- Diagnostic Excellence: Utilise your fault-finding skills to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on high-speed process lines.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Expert: You are an electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer with solid experience in a production environment.
- Certified Professional: Apprentice trained or holding an NVQ Level 2 in Engineering.
- Independent Thinker: You can work independently, make confident decisions, and take initiative.
- SCADA Experience: Whether this is Fault-finding or Programming
